What have you seen? What are you looking forward to? Discuss it all here one stop shopping.
I went and saw Mad Max: Fury Road last weekend and it was excellent. Having not seen the original trilogy I went in as a blank state. The movie was beautifully shot and had a manic pace which let up just enough at the right points to help you catch your breath. The movie had a pretty thin plot, but was a thrill ride from the very beginning.

Amy and I rarely see films in the theater any more, it has to be something we both think is must see on the big screen. We've been once this ear and it was for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Mad Max intrigues me, but it's a watch at home film for me. Ant-Man and Force Awakens are the only 2 I know for sure we'll see in the theaters, though something else may surprise us and get the trip to see it.
Movie going has become rather unpleasant as people have a distinct lack of etiquette in how to act in public or in a movie theater, and I know Amy gets annoyed by the antics of people before the movie even starts almost every time we go to the theater, and it makes it less an less enjoyable as people interrupt and disrupt the movie viewing experience with their self-absorbed rudeness.

Saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens this afternoon. We both really liked it, and I thought if felt more Star Warsy than any of the prequels (or even all of them combined).

Glad you enjoyed it - I am really not a Star Wars guy, I'm afraid. Much more of a Trekky (or Farscape!)

Glad you enjoyed it - I am really not a Star Wars guy, I'm afraid. Much more of a Trekky (or Farscape!) I was 8 in 1977, so prime age for Star Wars to resonate when it came out. I've always liked Trek, but loved Star Wars. My wife is a big Farscape fan, but it never did anything for me. -M

Ah, see, I think I was the right age for Star Trek and Farscape. I was...14-15 when Farscape came out. I actually remember watching the Pilot in a Hotel in Australia, the day after we moved from the UK to Oz.
But Star Wars never did anything for me at all. I own the First Triology (Episodes 4-6) on Blu-Ray but...eh.
