This was my first attempt at writing and drawing a comic as an adult. It was done in December 2001 as part of a Christmas book I was making for my wife (then girlfriend) and done just after I had read the 2 9-11 tribute trades, McCloud's Understanding COmics for the 2nd time and was trying to come to terms with what Christmas meant in the post-p/11 world and how meeting my wife had changed my outlook on the world.
The art is a bit hard for me to look at now (it was my first ever attempt at inking, I had a lot to learn).
Some of the lettering is cut off-I no longer have the original pages these were made on, these are scans of the pages as printed in the booklet I made and it was spiral bound so some of the lettering is cut off. The gist of the story should still be clear. It's an 8 pager...
I edited the credit box on page 1 to take out full names and all that so the MRP there is new...
hopefully this appears big enough to read...I'll do one page per post.
