I don't think any of you are new to this type of set up, but here is where all titles and characters will be claimed. Try to keep it to the format listed below. For no other reason than to help us keep organized.
All titles claimed this month will have till the end of October to have an issue up. By no means do you have to wait till October to release your first issue, but if you do put out an issue in September then you will have one due in October as well.

Right. I really hope this is correct! Wasn't sure if I could add in the Shazam kids, like Freddy, Eugene, Darla and Pedro as Wallpaper, so I've left them off.

Just want to know how much you intend on diving into Tender Mercy's history with her Amazon ties just worried about you maybe establishing too much for Wonder Woman lore.
I'm not sure who Neb-Uh-Lah is my google-fu is failing me as well so any help you can give me on that front would be appreciated.
Also the Circle of Eternity is just the name under wallpaper correct? I think the members are pretty much unnamed magical big guns correct?
Also is Beryl going to be Squire if so you need to indicate her identity in your claims.
Shazam kids are fine as wallpaper.

Tender-Mercy is not going to be an Amazon in my version of things - I understand she was a version through Robinson's JLA, but in my story she's going to be something...else. A Third Worldian. I did what I always do with Neb-Uh-Lah and mispelt it. It's actually Neb-Buh-Loh, and he is a member of the Sheeda. They're all unamed magical types, except for the Australian Shazam who I think has been named as the Wizard Shazam. Whether they're all called Shazam, I dunno, but they won't be in my version. Beryl will not be taking on the mantle of Squire in the sense of being Squired to Cyril. I've edited the post above to reflect the Shazam Kids in Wallpaper and also the renaming of Neb-Buh-Loh. Sorry about that! That's what happens when you do your claims before you go to bed! |

I have to say, I'm really pretty excited about this. Buck, your Batman was pretty awesome last time, and Miller, I know you have the deep man love for Hawkman, who, is an awesome character. (I was always more of a fan of the Palmiotti and Gray Hawkman and than Johns, but that might have been because of Ryan Sook...)

You know, I don't think I'm necessarily a fan of any one particular portrayal of Hawkman as much as I am a fan of the overall concept. I like the idea of a man and woman who have spent thousands and thousands of years being reincarnated into different bodies, yet still having some link to each other. I like the fact that you can go into history and you can go into space with the same character. I like that he's a warrior with the heart of a poet. And I like that he has yet to have a character defining run. Geoff Johns came close, but it's tough with just over 20 issues to his name on the character.
For me, he is the ultimate amalgamation character. First he was a Thanagarian Space Cop, then he was an Egyptian King, then he was a peasant, then a knight and a coyboy and world leaders and now he's this. He's all of them at once. Whether or not he has his memories intact, it doesn't matter. He still is all of these people and can draw on their talents and skills.
The story possibilities are endless.
