My redesign for Dr. Fate based on the Joe Kubert template for a Coptic super-hero in his big Super-Heroes art book. I wanted Fate to have a more classic Egyptian feel, but retian the identifiable elements of the character-i.e. the helm and amulet. Color scheme would still be blue and gold though, s those are typical Egyptian colors.
