What's everyone's thoughts on this show so far?
I enjoyed the first two episodes and it looks like it will have a nice structure with a longer narrative tied together through smaller done in one types of episodes.

I expected to dislike the show until I saw the still of the helm of Fate Easter egg. I wasn't even going to watch it, but after seeing that, decided to at least give it a try. I am glad I did. I have quite enjoyed the first two episodes, and think they have a good handle on how to approach the types of stories they need to make the show work. It has definitely had the creepiness factor going in the first two episodes, which was a good to see.

NBC has decided not to do a full 22 episode order for Season one, so only 13 episodes, but it's not cancelled. There's still a chance for Season two. There is a Save Constantine movement going using the #SaveConstantine hashtag to tweet to NBC or comment on the Constantine facebook page.
Ratings have been increasing, but NBC had to decide after ep. 4 whether or not to commit to 22 episodes, and they hadn't increased enough. Curiously enough, the biggest leap in ratings was for Episode 5 this past week, when Corrigan appeared and after SyFy did a marathon of the first 4 episodes for people to catch up.

Honestly, I prefer the 13 episode format that British Shows and non-network shows do. Very, very few shows need 22 episodes to do a season, especially today when things are at least semi-serialized. But on a network, it appears as if this is a sign of failure. Alas.
I only saw the first episode so far, but it was pretty good. I'll have to catch up via Hulu this weekend or so. It definitely solidified Gotham as my least favorite new DC show (and probably Comic Book Show in general). But nothing beats The Flash.

It definitely solidified Gotham as my least favorite new DC show (and probably Comic Book Show in general). But nothing beats The Flash. I like Flash, it's fairly enjoyable, but it is flawed and the writing on it is predictable and so far, fairly mediocre. It's been pretty much paint by numbers once they set up what the premise was, and near to falling into Smallville early season Krypto-monster of the week territory just replacing the super-conductor for Krytonite. It's all a little too pat for all super-powers to come from the accident and all the tech coming from people involved with the superconductor/STAR Labs and everything else tied to the mysterious guy form the future guiding it all. It's enjoyable, but as soon as the set up is visible, the pay off is immediately obvious too, and after a few episodes it seems very easy to map out where the rest of the season will go as to what and when things are bound to happen. They may have some curveballs and surprises in store, but so far the writing has not shown any inclination to do anything but connect dots and paint by numbers. -M

Been very hit or miss for me. The fact that they're airing episodes out of order and that they keep doing John only has a single partner for the episode has made it kinda meh. I don't think John has chemistry with the other two individually but as a group, they pull it off. Alternately, because it seems to be the only episodes where we've had all three of the main cast together, the Papa Midnite episodes are great. I was ready to give up the show then I watched the New Orleans episode with Constantine and Papa teaming up somewhat... My mind was blown. It was like an entirely different show.
I think part of it has to do with Matt Ryan seems to have TOO MUCH character that he needs someone like Papa Midnite to balance him off because Zed and Chas's actors can't keep up with him.

That was a disgusting episode. Disappointed that it's a two parter because I have no idea when the show will come back on.
I'm still of the opinion that the three mains have to be together for the show to really hit its stride but I'll admit to enjoying Zed's solo story. <_<;;
