So, here's a hypothetical conversation - I know we all have titles we're writing, but if there were two titles you'd want to write, in an Ultimate DC setting, what would they be?
To be honest, I'm already writing a title I love, in Sentinels.
But, if Sentinel's weren't an option, I'd consider a companion title to it - in the form of the Elemental world, and the basis of nature and all the great things that go with that. I've always loved Animal Man and Swamp Thing (as proven by the fact that the bulk of the Animal man Profile on Comicvine was written by me when I typed up his entire history for a Forum Roleplaying Game)
Failing that...
For whatever reason, I've always very much been in love with the idea of the Legion. Less so with some of the Legion comics (personal favourite was the Giffen era, in the Five Years Later Modru-verse. I enjoyed that VERY much - think it appealed to my British sensibilities)
Over the years, I've toyed with various Legion ideas. A convergence type thing, bringing together lots of time travel characters, the idea of doing the Legion in the here and now, and all sorts of things - but nothing ever really..settled. One, probably because of certain factors over at UDC mean't that time travel was not an option, and that kind of drove the concept of the modern legion into the ground. The second was always trying to find a way to tie the Legion to something, without the Superman legacy as the kind of launch pad.
I was kind of obsessed with the idea of doing a New Gods title for UDC for a while as well. I knew it'd go nowhere because of the ban placed on it, first by C_Miller, which made sense at the time, and then from DoB who kept the ban up because...of...reasons. When questioned, he never really had a decent reason for it. Again, i seem to be obsessed with modern day versions - Final Crisis, in particular, and Morrison's Mr. Miracle - trying to tell a relevant story with the New Gods in a modern era. I know that kind of defies the logic of the New Gods, because it was very KIRBY!! dialed up to 11, but, I wanted to give it a go.
For Marvel, I think I'd go with one of two options -
Young Gods/Eternals - Undecided on the title, but it would focus on groups of teens who are going through "changes". I suppose, like Inhumans? Only they're "Gods" a modern pantheon, for a Modern World. With things like, modern twists on characters and ideas, take chances like the original Ultimate Universe did, with Elsa Bloodstone as Dr Specturm...things like that.
The other idea was for the Fantastic Four. I did originally have this as the kind of botched attempt to do our own version of the Ultimate DC, but with Marvel, and bottomed out. I reviewed it since, and considered the idea of it being like the FF more than the Fantastic Four - a group of scientists, on a space station, who're bombarded with cosmic rays, and absorbed into this battle against the elements, against science and against other aberrations/mutations. Was gonna be fairly non-traditional, with Doom as...well...not really a bad guy, as such.
What about you guys? No commitments, just conversation

If we are speaking hypotheticals...
I have an idea for a Marvel fic I have been kicking around for some time ( I talked to buck about before the last grand Marvel experiment to give you a sense of how long...) but it won't work that well in a shared sandbox environment for a number of reasons...
It starts with moving Stephen Strange back in time a bit, he's a US army Doc who loses the use of his hands in WWI, and wanders about Asia seeking the Ancient One in the late 19teens and early 1920s, finds him and defeats Mordo as the traditional story, but then spends the 1920 wandering through Marvel Asia of the 20s encountering things that could/would have been there-Attilan in the Himalayas and the Inhumans of the generation before Blackbolt's generation of the royal family, a skeleton clawed Logan in Madripoor, Ulysses Bloodstone searching for monsters, K'un L'un and that generations Iron Fist, a champion of Konshu before Moon Knight, Fu Manchu before he sires Shang Chi, young Nathaniel Richards on some misadventure or another, Atlantis pre-Namor, the Eternals, etc. etc. etc. Very much a period pulp piece, establishing a vibrant Marvel U in the 1920s that could dovetail into the Marvel U born in the 60s. Kind of a lost generation thing, but pre-Golden Age...
It's scope is too big to work with claims and shared universes of people trying to parcel out pieces of an established universe to recreate it without sharing a unified vision of how to do so.
As for DC, some leftover random thoughts of series I considered but never actually did...
-a version of the Legion as a band of rebel freedom fighters opposing a galactic imperium of sorts, kind of Legion mashed up with a Dreadstar like vibe
-a Lost world pulp version of a DC team with Kent Nelson and Carter Hall as a pair of archaeologists leading an expedition into the world of Skartaris, along with their scientific adviser Ray Palmer and their guide, ex-special forces soldier named Travis Morgan. Along the way they find a number of relics of lost civilizations there including a golden helm, a pair of wings and white dwarf metal....
-an unlikely pair of PIs sharing an office...Jim Corrigan and John Jones, both disgraced cops trying to make good each with their own secret...

A few ideas I've fooled with in the past included:
-I originally was going to introduce the Fables universe into the original Ultimate DC. Spinning out of Adam Strange Martian Manhunter was going to find his place on Earth in Fabletown and would set up as a P.I. among the Fables.
-An Animal Man series in the style of the Incredibles starring the entire Baker clan showing the ins and outs of a family faced with the fact Dad is a superhero. I was going to put the Bakers in mundane situations and let the craziness of super heroics then derail the story. I had plans for Buddy's wife to think he was cheating on her when he disappears to fight crime (this being before he revealed his alter ego to her).
-I played around with a couple of takes on Green Lantern one of the common ideas in those takes was to shrink the Corp and make it more of a noble honor to wear the emblem. A big idea i played around with was making Sinesteo the hero of the story. Sinestro would be set up by the Guardians for his fall.
Lots of other ideas floating around, but those are three of the main ones.

MRP, that sounds like a great idea. You have a lot of my favourite characters in there, Bloodstone, Strange, The Eternals etc. They're all awesome - If there were such a shared site, I would be more than happy to participate in the future element. Perhaps instead of characters, the writers had eras to work in, instead? Eh, whatever. I'd certainly read it!
And Buck, you know I love me some Animal Man. In a series, the first series I wrote actually, for a website that is deceased now, called DC Infinity, I actually wrote a story which eventually had Ellen cheating on Buddy with Zauriel of all people.
Not sure how I feel about J'Onn in Fable town. Not a bad thing, but wouldn't it take away from Beast/Bigby?
Also, Honor Guard for GL is a fun, fun idea.

Unfortunately I doubt I will ever get around to writing any of them. I am just not up for serialized long form fiction right now in any form or venue, or in putting something incomplete out there without the full project being done in at least draft form. Too many unfinished projects for reasons beyond my control have dampened any enthusiasm for a venture where the complete story is not done in some form before any part of it is put out for consumption.

I understand, MRP. Producing things that aren't finished, or aren't ready often leaves a kind of bitter taste, doesn't it? Especially if it collapses underneath itself. I have started many a story for it only to fall apart, or the place of publication collapse. Some of it was very much tailored to that universe..I think I cited my DCI Animal Man series...that is deceased, despite my planning it to issue 40 or something. I managed to get out 20 before it died, so, not bad...but it was very much based on the fallout of Infinite Crisis, so didn't fit anywhere else.
Concentrate on what makes you happy, dude.

Yeah, I am actually more focused on short fiction in prose right now. If we had an actual House of Mystery/Strange Adventures/Mystery in Space type anthology thing going here for standalone tales in a particular genre or theme, I would probably take a crack at it, but I am just not up for long form and the hoops that need to be jumped through for a shared universe type serial at the moment....

An Arrow story at the end of his first year dealing with the fallout of his origin and first year on the job. Builds towards the second arc which has him with a "Team Arrow" (not the usual team you think of) and dealing with the Suicide Squad as either his antagonists or him being forced to join.
A Superman story that totally ultimatizes his relationship with the Superman Family, changes the dynamics of how Superman, Supergirl, and Superboy function. Lex wouldn't even be an antagonist for the longest time. I'd have another rich business person filling his traditional role.

So again hypothetically speaking..giving some thought to what I might like to do if I were to do something with a tabla rasa in terms of format and frequency of posting.
I think I would like to do something that was skin to a golden age book- a big collection of done in one stories with multiple leads done on a semi-monthly basis (maybe bi-monthly). Where there might be like 2 leads, each getting like a 10K word story that has beginning middle and end with other either one off shorter stories or vignettes. For example a More Fun Comics thing where there would be a 10K Dr. Fate story, a 10K Spectre story and like a 2-5K horror or sci-fi or pulpy short or vignette. Each issue would be self-contained, not continued form one to the other, but the stories could build on each other (events in a DR. Fate story could play into future Dr. Fate stories but not be done as a serial for instance, or a threat vanquished by Fate in one story may reemerge to face the Spectre down the road in another story, etc. etc. Each story would be done casebook style so to speak, and their might even be a case that causes the lead features to meet up and work together for a story or something like that.
The issue could be posted in implements (say the Doc story when its finished, the filler when its done, the Spectre when its done for example) until the whole issue is done, and then the next "issue" would start (or if it got dropped at least the stuff posted would constitute a complete story so to speak).
Again, not certain I have it in me to write anything at this time, but if I were to do something, I think that is the format/vein I would want to work in.

Again hypothetically speaking, I had an idea for a science fiction series that never materialized, so on a lark I started kitbashing it into what could be a DC fan fic and wound up with something that looks like this...
Title: Mystery in Space
Subtitle: In a Galaxy far, far away…
Heroes: Katar Hol (Hawkman), Shayera Thal (Hawkwoman), Koriand’r, Tigorr, Primus, Kalista, The Omega Men,
Villains: Manhawks, The Citadel, The Spider Guild, Blackfire (Komand’r), Psions, Lady Styx, Byth, Kanjar Ro
Support: Vegan system, Durlans, X’Hal, Gordanians
Wallpaper: Paran Katar, Thanagar, Tamaran (Vegan world), Omega Men members (Doc, Broot, Ryand’r aka Darkfire, Elu, Seer, Demonia, Harpis), Darkstars (Lady Styx servants not Controller police force), Okaarans (Vegan race), Kuraaq (Vegan homeworld of the Omega Men), Nth metal, Citadelians (Vegan rulers of the Citadel), Changralyn (Vegan race), Branx (Vegan race), Aellons (Vegan race), Karnans (Vegan race), Euphorians (or Euphorixians-I’ve seen it spelled both ways-Vegan race)
Synopsis/Pitch: Starts on Thanagar-a world that has become a barren wasteland whose resources are spent and whose citizens took to the skies generations ago in massive floating domed cities powered by Nth metal and wing harnesses worn to travel within these cities, which war with each other. Thanagarians are a civilization in decline, warring and concerned with bread and circuses, descending into savagery, and among the entertainments are gladiatorial contests pitting certain Thanagarians against monsters and slaves provided by the Spider Guild from the nearby Vegan system. Katar and Shayera are among the gladiators and escape joining a group of freedom fighters from the Vegan system known as the Omega Men, whose ultimate goal is to take down the decaying interstellar empire known as the Citadel...and the dark goddess the Citadel secretly worship...
I'm not certain it would work under current system, it might with some tweaking, haven't looked at the claims listed versus claims already made (Subtitle is a place holder really, and all the races in wallpaper represent home-worlds of claimed characters I think), and not sure it would work in monthly 2-3K word installments, so not sure if it would be right for the site or not, and I am still just kicking the tires on the idea rather than committed to it. But if anyone has any feedback, I'd be interested in hearing it....

<_<
If it ends up being part of the current regime... Keep your filthy mitts off Starfire. If I can't have Barda then she's mine! MINE!!! You can keep the Vegans and possibly SOME people of Tamaran. It really fits well with my Superman/Action Comics main through line about the decaying state of Cosmic UDCU with Harbingers and Eradicators all over the place (exaggeration but really, they do go from planet to planet and any GL or Lantern writer would have to deal with the failure of these systems.)
If it ends up being part of multiversity if that gets off the ground ever... The Manhunters and/or some Lantern Corps that is NOT GREEN would be very interesting to see how they bounce off such a story.

I had all this typed up on my phone before this site/my browser/my keyboard thing crashed my phone and it's still not working right...
I'm currently in a world of pain and yet no pain (YAY MEDS!) because the weather has my sinuses all wonky but though I'm physically and mentally to out of it to actually do anything, my mind won't shut up about ideas after reading through MRP's and how much thought he always puts into them so I'm going to make some bullet points to fill out later and with the ideas out there and out of my head... hopefully I can finally rest.
1. Old Man Logan: Features Jimmy Hudson and a Scorpion that has a curious relationship to both Spidey and Logan. Would definitely utilize a Hulk and would probably use the original Ultimate creation (and one of the reasons why I'm a supporter of this being truly an Ultimate DC instead of just fanfiction over our favorite eras of DC) Nomi Blume/Mach Two. Possibly Thor's son as well.
2. Red Lanterns and my justification of why I want them to be able to be used outside of a focused title or with the existence of a Green Lantern writer. Involves Guy and a member of the Superman Family that hasn't fully developed yet so feels inadequate next to Clark.
3. Utilization of current titles (Sentinels and hopefully JSA) for a bit of inter-connectivity by using some New52 Earth 2 inspiration over Red Tornado.
4. (My phone crashed here) Impossible to do in canon though I'd love it to be. A near future Young Justice featuring next gen or next, next gen characters with sort of the future as of a set point in current titles. Probably best as a multiversity. Would have Damian as Robin or even Nightwing from Batfamily. Nightstar and Nel Batgirl potential supporting. A teen Doctor Fate with some SHAZAM influence (based on Hawk's Council and a really cool fanart I found). Jai and Iris West from the Flash Family. Chris or Jon Kent from Superman Family. Emiko or Lian from Team Arrow. Warhawk from the Hawks... And there would need to be someone really cool as an old or grizzled middle aged mentor. Alternately, Booster Gold the Greatest Hero You've Never Heard of Yet has to ready them.
(And here is new stuff I'm typing up just because I got up to use the computer) 5. A Detective Chimp anthology (possibly back and forth with MRP) along the same lines of Sherlock Holmes with the Brain as his Professor Moriarty and someone I can no longer remember as his Watson. I think it might have been Etrigan.
6. The Wonder Woman take with a drastic Ultimatization of Donna Troy. Was going to be my title to replace Flash or my second title to go with it before I started leaning towards Action Comics and then avoided both to do Ultimate Arrow.
7. Outsiders/Suicide Squad/Secret Six involving turmoil between Markovia and another country. Probably Vlatava since this most likely would be a story line involving my Ultimate Arrow Brand. Would love for Kahndaq and Bialya to be involved. Would require some rearranging of the countries for closer proximity but from the top of my head only Markovia would likely need to be moved closer to the Europe/Asia border.

MRP - Once again, we seem to think the same thoughts - I've long wanted to write a series based around the Alien Species of the DC world. One of my various Legion ideas was to blend in the alien species of DC with the Legionnaries, and have a true Legion of heroes, not just the whole "Look like normal people except for Monstress and Gates"
Of course, I'd want Martian Manhunter in there as well, but, eh, I have issues with massive, massive casts.
Intrigued by this drastic re-imagining of Donna. Tell me more.
Immediately.
I, too, am a huge fan of the Ultimate approach to the X-Men in the introduction of some characters. The way Rogue was going with the forest...that was awesome.

Lets give it a run down. Some I can go into more detail about. Others basically say all there is to say. 1. All New, All Now Old Man Logan (2099)So we know Old Man Logan is badass and he looks badass when he becomes the Hooded Man/One whatever he was called. The idea is that the story takes place at some point where Wolverine has aged to be at least gray in the hair and possibly his healing factor has started to slow down. He is an old man obviously. Probably would somehow attach it to a 2099 title/line because it isn't really a dystopian world like the comic. Jimmy would be the "current" Wolverine and possibly Logan's last son. He's interesting in that he somehow was born with the ability to coat his bones in the metal. Internal Colossus. Maybe it's a deal like there is with Ruby where she was a combination of her parent's powers (Scott's beams and Emma's metal form) so he's also descended from another original X-Man. Then we have All New, All Now 2099 Scorpion... She's X-23 and like Ultimate Cable and the Original Old Man Logan, it's one of those ideas that combines how can we deconstruct/satirize comics. X-23 is a creation that was used by combining the x chromosomes of the two most popular marvel characters... Wolverine and you guessed it: SPIDER-MAN. (Yes, I literally have Pete and Logan make a baby together). The two claws of hers are reflective of a scorpion's pincers. Probably give her an ability to poison others and numb them including those with healing factors as part of her hunting nature. Has a spidey sense and wall crawling/stealth. Would most likely gain the tail as part of a suit later on. The fact that she's a clone/daughter is combination of the real X-23 and Ultimate Scorpion (who I love and wanted to see more of). Then there'd be a Hulk because you have to have a Hulk and other potential 2099 characters. Don't really have a story just characters in a world in Marvel's future and 2099 is the closest they have to something like a Legion Era. 2. Action Comics Featuring Red Lanterns
To compliment my Ultimate Arrow which is street level with a pinch of mystic, my dream is to go for way super with more than a touch of cosmic. With a subtitle like "Last Sons" it already features the likes of Superman with a mentor figure in another last son... the Martian Manhunter. The two of them will face off against a cosmic threat that has wiped out their worlds, their people already, while also dealing with certain aspects of humanity who sees them as a possible threats as well.... But lets go back to cosmic angle. Krypton, gone. Mars and the Martians, gone... The GLC (if it exists and I'd only hint of it until such time) has already failed these people and another if you read my threat against MRP. There needs to be some "different" force ready to do what must be done to stop this cosmic claimer of planets and peoples. Enter the Red Lanterns who are slightly more violent than their green counterpart. Now I can't claim Sinestro Corps because that rightly should be a Green Lantern specific deal. Can't claim the GLC or a GL (the latter because of annoying rule that has to bend for the Corps one way or another) but there is one guy who stands alone. There is one guy who knows sometimes all you need is one good punch. There is one Guy... Gardner that is. He's not only been more than a Lantern in dark days we might want to forget but he's also been a Red Lantern and their leader who happened to be in charge of Earth's sector. He's frankly expendable when it comes to the multiple GLs. In a cosmic title that touches on space and in a time where I don't have much faith in a GL writer showing up or staying... I need something, someone, to be working against this threat. The Red Lanterns work perfectly. They even have a nice storyline with the Superman family that I intend to ultimatize. There's this one Superfolk... Feels a bit inadequate next to the Man of Steel, isn't mature enough to have developed all the kryptonian powers (no flight for example). Possibly has anger/frustration issues. Who needs a Legion Flight Ring when you can have your very own Red Lantern Ring? Adds heat vision too if that hasn't been developed. Then there are some smaller things about the whole Guy and the Red Lanterns deal. I have Green Arrow who has a canon strange relationship with a Lantern (albeit it's Hal) and by the time Guy becomes a recurring character, Ollie will have worked past the issues you see him with in Year End so there's potential to adapt that relationship in an ultimate way... And now for the big whammy. Ultimate Dex-starr is *dramatic music* Power Girl's mangy cat Dex Starr AKA Streaky. I don't have much faith in being able to get the Red Lanterns but I do dream of Clark, J'onn, and Guy teaming up to save the Earth. 3. The Interconnectivity. If Miller returns then my potential Action Comics takes place in the present Metropolis that once possibly had a hero named Red Tornado. Sentinels has a modern Red Tornado (I think). Earth 2 did something quite strange with Lois Lane... What point am I getting to? Lois, Jimmy, someone becomes a Red Tornado or a Red *Insert the Element here* because of reasons relating to the other two titles. 4. Future JusticeJust going to post the pics here since that section said all that needed to be said. 5. Detective Chimp -Title: Ultimate Detective Chimp (with each storyline being some sort of play on pulp/mystery classics so it'd be "Chimp and" or "Chimp in" -Subtitle: Elementary my dear Beast Boy. -Characters: Detective Chimp, Beast Boy, Etta Candy, Brain, that French Gorilla that I'm not going to look up. Beast Boy is just an insert character for the most part though he could work as sort of the translator/human counterpart so that Chimp is taken "seriously." Etta Candy was chosen because to me her name just radiates sex appeal and Chimp needs a nice dame. 6. Ultimate Wonder/Ultimate Wonder Woman I really hate this title in strange way now. Not only is it nearly impossible to do here because of a tedious rule but it kept me up when I should have been resting last night because I couldn't stop thinking about it (of course, I finally stopped thinking of it after I received a kick in the balls over it after I got excited at realizing it might be possible because Aquaman was left off the rule for some reason and pointed it out). I most likely won't do the title because of that rule - though my original idea didn't include Aquaman when I first started, he just gave me a direction to take the story as more than villain of the week - and because I'm about to reveal a majority of the outline and the big, big, super big reveal of Ultimate Donna Troy. Also might be difficult cause of the scope. Yet despite all the trouble it brings, I still love the concept and some of the concepts more than others. First off, it's basically an Ultimate's Finest/World's Finest type setup except with Diana and Arthur in the car and a mythological focus on the modern myth. It's also influenced by how Ultimate Marvel handled certain things as will be obvious shortly. It is also definitely an Ultimatization that possibly borders on elseworlds (though I see it more like Ultimate F4). I was also given the idea a bit by Flashpoint/Flashpoint Paradox. Atlantis and Themyscira are both places of myth, both hold a special place in the heart of the gods as some of the last places that truly worship and believe in them. The two cultures have an accord and have for centuries. Atlanteans help the Amazons to breed. Primarily this is them abducting sailors for the Amazons to mate with but every few years there is a big get-together between the two races where they party hard. The Amazons are blessedly cursed to only bear daughters. The rare occasions when this does not happen are calls for good or bad omens (One of the members of the Aquafamily would be one such boy) depending on "reasons." Sometimes you have an Atlantean born Amazon (meaning one that can breathe under water) which is a really good omen and they will either end up as the Queen of Atlantis or the elite guard. Read: Aquaman's mum and Mera. The backdrop for title is that some sixteen years ago the Greek Gods fell from Olympus because one of them got all mythological after there had been a godly agreement where they just don't do that anymore. This would try to tie into the concept of "Worlds" that Sentinels has been doing. So yeah, the gods fall because one of them fathered a mortal (you can easily guess who this is) and now they're stuck in mortal vessels themselves (inspired a bit by Jackalope's Ultimate Wonder Woman) with a fraction of their ability. The gods aren't the greatest at being original. Zeus as Maxie Zeus for one. Mercury as Max Mercury as another. And Artemis as an Artemis (I have two! and this is important). There'd also be interesting vessels for Ares, Athena/Aphrodite, and Hephaestus. The really important vessel though is Garth/Tempest. Whereas the Amazons have been abandoned by the gods seemingly, Poseidon still has a presence under the sea somewhat. At present, you have the approaching orgy, excuse me, celebration between the Amazons and Atlanteans. Diana is not a warrior, not yet. She's still the Princess of the Amazons and trained in the art of warfare but she has an air of innocence around her and she's not quite the kickass warrior queen (once again... not yet, I NEED THE ABILITY TO GROW PEOPLE SO DON'T COMPLAIN). Part of the celebrations have competitions and what not. For her part, Diana has decided to sculpt the most beautiful sculpture of the perfect man. Oh yeah, you know this is going bad. Magical Shenanigans ensue and we have a male Galatea on our hands. It was probably bad on Diana's part to name/dedicate the statue after the city of Troy and the heroes of the Trojan War. That never ends well when things get all mythological... And yes, you guessed it... That former statue is the Ultimate Donna Troy. For probably prophetic or just LAW/BECAUSE reasons, the Amazons suddenly have a man/trojan horse in their midst and they only have two options to destroy it or send it to Man's World. Diana is not going to stand for that. For all intents and purposes, this "Troy" is her creation. She goes to Man's World with him. One of their earliest adventures before it starts to really join with Aquaman is to find a former Amazon that had been exiled before her (this is an idea I intended to do on the other site but had to deal with DoB). This Amazon has become known as a muscle called Savage and given what she did on paradise island, it was quite the scandal. (Just guess the character) Diana and Troy discover through a third party (possibly Doctor Fate or some other nice prophetic figure) that there become those who seek to basically commandeer the gods and conquer/destroy/do bad stuff to the world. One such figure is Ocean Master who decides that Tempest is not worthy and that he could really do with becoming the new God of the Sea and Quaker of the Earth as opposed to a master of the ocean. To prevent this, Diana needs to team up with the Lost Son of Atlantis to bring peace between her people and Atlantis (one of the big deals is that Orm has broken the accord). One of the ways they need to do this is by garnering the favors/aid of the gods which of course would lead them to discover who that mortal child from 16 years ago is. During the adventures, Diana's powers grow as the gods grant her favors and gifts. Arthur's powers awaken as he becomes aware that he is part Human, Part Atlantean, and Part Amazonian. He's stronger and more naturally gifted than an Atlantean because of his Amazonian heritage (through his mum who was one of the rare Amazon born Atlanteans) and his "talk to fish" ability is an extension of one of Diana's (canon) old powers over nature. He can impose his will/empathize with marine life with possibility for it to grow into more. Eventually you have Wonder Woman, Troy/Wonder Boy, Wonder Girl, Aquaman, Aqualad, and Two Gods in Mortal Form VS "the world" with two mortals in immortal form AKA two people succeeding in stealing the power from Poseidon and a god/goddess that is very important to the Amazons. You have themes of Atlantis wanting war with the surface world, Amazons standing in their way yet facing the problem of being abandoned by their gods (which leads to questionable acts), and Diana and Arthur become modern myths as they do what needs doing. ---- Whew. That was long. I'm not doing number 7. Don't think there is much to say there other than if I go Action Comics, I can add the country of General "Not Russian" Zod to the list.

The Aqua Wonder title cont... I forgot to mention that Prometheus was going to be a major antagonist with the possibility of it crossing over to Ultimate Arrow because of certain myths about constellations that have a creative (in my mind) tie to that title's mythos.
Super Young Team Because a recently released fanvid (with a pinch of Big Hero Six) reminded me of something I've wanted to try in the Ultimate Universe for years... A revamp of the Super Young Team as Super Sentai like characters. This could be really fun to do in the current universe given the going ons in Sentinels and the fact they're the Fifth World incarnations of the Forever People. Leads to all sorts of possibilities. If I make it through the second grand storyline of Ultimate Arrow (one I really don't have planned at all... I just know I'm thinking one arc at a time with MAYBE seeds for future stories) and Team Arrow evolves into a team/international title naturally, I can see myself trying to finally explore the concept but I'm not that in love with it. All in all, I'm a child of the nineties so a ready made team of characters that are a perfect fit for Super Sentai will always hold a special place in my heart.
