Yeah, I'm dropping Flash. Really don't feel I can do it under the restrictions (whether they exist only in my head or not) of the site. I would like it moved to Multiversity if we end up adding that though. I'm 1700 words into the first issue of another title and will be claiming it shortly once I figure out whether or not to go with something Buck said he'd approve.

Wallpaper Queries
Given that Wintergreen is Deathstroke's best friend/gentleman's gentleman in his primary incarnation, does he count as wallpaper? He's technically the evil Alfred.
For Emiko (Oliver's half sister in the New 52)... Will she need to be claimed on her own or as a lesser prosperity, is she part of the deal if I go with Komodo since I'll have her parents. I personally think she's probably leaning towards needing claims from what I can find about her but wallpapers have been approved for less.

I'm seriously starting to dislike the claim system more than ever. It's monthly based as opposed to issue to prevent "bad issues" which in turn holds you back if you have a creative wellspring. I see merit in it. I understand it. But it's such a hassle. Especially with 2(3?) claims to use a month between two possible titles. With my gameplan, if I see it through so that I can burn through my Green Arrow motivation to slow down towards the end of Year End for a second title, I'm basically screwed because I have maybe 2, 3 characters tops, that are towards any long term planning.
No room to plant seeds for the next storyline. Not enough room for my additional support/background desires for Year End. Not unless I intend to draw it out for four months and that's if I don't claim Action Comics next month.

Because claims are not in favor of how I'm doing my first storyline and I really can't review squat unless you count my belated review of Sentinels, I don't have my third claim just yet. I really want I-Ching because he's an interesting obscure character but I might be forced into using a wallpaper or original for his role because of need. Gotta think on it a bit more. Stupid need/want for another corporation/business and long term planning.

ATTENTION BUCK Since we're coming on the end of the month, can I get a quick ruling on some things (besides you know my claims being approved)? I really need to know soonish so that I can make the final decision on my third claim (with the help of my poll of course). Question 1In the past, I've been approved to have a two-to-three or so lesser members (C-D listers and below usually without personal relation to other characters I don't already have of the League of Assassins). You know my story plan basics. I already obviously have Ubu because his deal with Ra's and I plan on taking The First from Arrow Season 2 (I'll add him to wallpaper if you feel he needs to be listed for sake of reference) but in effort to combat some of the trouble/difficulty this type of story is bringing me, I wanted to know if I can get that two or three members as well given the sheer number of major members I have. Two at the very least will help me... Oh, I don't have a question mark anywhere... Can I pretty please try to find some minor League members to try to give me room to play between my kill count and ability to claim only three characters a month? Question 2The same question kinda applies to Seven Men of Death but to lesser extent. If I claim them can I get one or two to add to one I already have? Question 3Since it is kinda of a generic term/obscure team, is it possible for me to at least just use the words (Seven Men of Death) without it being an/the actual "team" to describe the gauntlet of Year End? I just want to be up front with this because I'm probably going to try to see if I can find a translation somewhere to put it in a different language. I don't want to get away with something just because my title isn't being read/the low member count/restricted knowledge. If not, I'll try to come up with some alternative like replace death with night or something. --- To the rest of the members of the board, all this - despite the very slight spoilers to my story -is being asked in public claims so that the questions can be out in the open instead of it looking like some sort of deal was made in the shadows. (Yes... That is an intended pun). |

Your claims are approved. Boomerang begrudgingly so.
1. Yes you can find some members of the LoA and put in a claim for them as wallpaper. Just be sure to run them by me before use.
2. Honestly the seven men of death are fine for wallpaper z-listers.
On another note, Miller has gone AWOL and because of this his JSA has been dropped. |

When claims take five days to approve in a topic you state will hopefully see more use than last months and I had to track you down to get answers to my last questions, I did it cause the clock is running down on Feb and said answers couldn't wait five days. Nothing wrong with going about it with style to highlight IMPENDING DOOM. I'll pick a more cheerful font for your name which I used
politely as a "hey Buck" next time.

Since I don't currently know my Rate of Issues for Year End (I hope to keep the pace up until Day 4 or is it 5? Well, I don't want to start slowing down until Day 4 is posted is what I mean) and I don't know where else to say it...
In the news feeder or radar or whatever it's called. I can't remember it... Something like "Shadows fall over Star City in Ultimate Arrow: Year End" could work if we continue to use it and that way it can always remain accurate without a need to constantly update it.
Edit: And goddamn if I have to edit this post one more time for it to make sense and not come across as rude then I will have learned my lesson of posting while doped up on sinus meds.

I'm the triple postman! (yes I made that pun).
Since there is some "big news incoming in march," I have a few questions so that they can be out of the way near the start of the month.
1. Has the two month rule for first issue become an unofficial rule? (Buck technically claimed and was accepted in Feb but since he's the Admin who makes boards he gets to wait to when he wants to make it. On the other hand, I doubt any of us hold issue with title claims made at the end of the month counting towards that month)
2. Given that I'm approaching the possibility of two titles and I will most likely be claiming it so I can have a side of the sandbox that is different than the one I am currently playing in (and have reason to slow my pace)... Are claims going to be bumped up to four a month? Three remains restrictive to try to balance out between two different titles.

I ask these because with the state of the board and the simplicity of the rules (I endorse that BTW), claims adjustment have never had to reach that mark. There's also the deal with it being next to impossible to review half the posted issues for the month when you're the only one posting. It's good news for me and possibly others because hey, they have 4 issues of my stuff to read and review so they can get their third claim the first time but it remains a difficult case in general.

Two months is indeed the rule, but right now honestly we are really loose with deadlines. If there are no issues posted then you can still get an additional claim provided you posted your title. Claims will not be bumped to four a month.
League of Shadows is approved.
